Nobody is offering him a job except, Anthony. He likely wants a crazy amount of money and the companies that can afford to pay him what he wants, don't want him.
it would funny to watch him try and follow a format like he would have to do with, Francesa. The dumb fuck couldn't do radio where you can literally talk about anything, if he has to focus on one subject he is fucked.
I didn't say he would get said job...he delusional and thinks he can get a big time radio job again in a matter of months. He really does think he's the most talented radio personality ever; he's the David Brent of shock jockery.
I know a tiny bit about the radio business (no I'm not that loser Danny or anyone connected with O&A). I love to joke around on this sub but being totally honest, his problem is going to be that no one wants him without Anthony. If he thinks he can get a show even on a smaller NYC station, by touting Sherrod, Vic and some fry cook for a show, it will get him zero interest from any radio execs.
The sad thing is, if he really did join with Anthony, and I do NOT mean on the Cumia network b.s, they probably could get some interest with some lower rated stations in the NYC area that want to try to jump up in the ratings (just like WXRK did with them after Stern left, and the Roth hilariousness). These radio execs are weird, have short memories, and tend not to be too innovative programming wise. They might even get some interest from some smaller radio networks; there are a few still around. My best guess is that if he does anything with anthony, it will be them trying to get a gig as the "opie and anthony" show again on terrestrial. However, it will be horrible and at least one good result would be keeping this sub going if they do, lol.
Ant's is actually more problematic, to be honest. There are tons of radio hosts that are difficult to deal with and the Roland bathroom thing, though we all think it's hilarious, really isn't a huge deal in the scheme of things. Opie got canned because of the Howard thing...roland was just an excuse to get rid of him before Oct. I was actually shocked he wasn't fired days after the Howard thing, but I wouldn't be surprised that Stern (2017 roses and lollipops "I want to be loved"...Stern or that Marcie guru of his) told the execs not to fire him, just don't renew him in Oct.
