Could I get a brief summary of why Fez ended up MIA for so long? I was never an R&F follower and don't really know his deal.

When O&A were hired by XM they had this idea of handing out 'golden tickets' to terrestrial broadcasters. Ron and Fez were the only ones that took the bait. After being on their channel for a few years, Opie got uncomfortable with sharing the limelight and banished Ron and Fez to another channel. There was some talk that he tried to get rid of them entirely. Fez "retired" a few years ago and Ron Bennington replaced him with his own daughter.

I think Opie is a piece of shit, but even I didn't know he was that much of a piece of shit.

He was always so nice to Ronnie though. I don't know if I believe that, not because I think well of Opie but because I doubt Stupid Opie's ability to lie about such things.

I don't know about trying to get rid of them, but I think when Anthony had a free TACS to air dirty laundry, he said that it was Opie who wanted them moved to the other channel.

I think that lasted a year and some other things had happened * one was he got sirius sued by that porn chick* and Sirius offered him even less or didn't offer a return.

They also worked with Ron and Fez at WNEW until Sex for Sam got them canned and they flipped the entire station not too long afterwards.

I stopped listening to O&A and R&F years ago when my XM radio wasn't Sirius compatible. Can somebody explain to me why Fez dislikes Opie?

It's all good radio if you have the time to listen but there doesn't seem to be a full segment, just links.

If I remember correctly though, Opie would constantly bitch about Fez not pulling his weight by not talking. He blamed it on the fact that Fez was crazy "and I've dealt with enough crazy" but in the end he was most likely just jealous of everyone's love of Fez and his relative success because he's got talent. Supposedly Opie was the main proponent of R&F being moved off of the channel as well. So Fez had no qualms about talking shit on Opie in a supposedly friendly feud. "Fez beats up Opie" on that list is a good one.
