What are the cringiest episodes of the Joe Rogan Experience?

14  2017-07-01 by Eternalforms

I've just gotten back into Rogans podcast again, mainly for all the douchey and uncomfortable moments but I've missed most of his content for years.

The everlast and crowder episodes come to mind recently. What are the all time most uncomfortable episodes?

I feel like this is a trick question.

all?

Olive Garden

He gave Redban too many chances. He even managed to piss off Bill Burr with his autism.

Episode 313 -- Greg "Opie" Hughes

Didn't he take a "baby hit" or some deuschy term like that he said 50xs too many.

deuschy

Asshole

"deuschy"?

*1-352 are a tie.

What's wrong with it? Haven't listened fan of o and a but Opie is a fuckin hack

I'm honestly too fuckin nervous to listen to it I know the cringe will be real

He claimed to take a "baby hit" with rogan then pretended to be spaced out for the first hour.

How about the guy who used to come on and explain the dangers of mycototoxins?

Not sure which ep # but it was Dave Asprey

That's the Bulletproof asshole, right?

Hahah yea, there's some good clips of Rogan bashing him after he found out he was a fraud.

The one when Rohan and Jamie have a twerk-off

The first time Milo is on is worth a listen. He all but admits he's just pretending to be gay, and fails hard at trying to explain why he's a Catholic.

Thaddeus Russell is the absolute worst guest I've ever seen on JRE. Pretentious and preposterous in equal measure.

Very nice. Yea the kilstein one was great and so was the one with burr.

I'll have to watch this thaddeus russell douche tho.

not gonna defend anything else that joe does. But Brian Dunning is a fucking retarded cunt.

He chased off a guy his show too early one time because he was so mad at the guy. I don't remember who it was or why he did it, but it definitely happened and he keeps bringing it up a lot.

Thanks for the info

The douchiness arc has been interesting. The older ones, before he was in his current studio with the red curtains, are a mixture of him trying to be funny a lot more often as we all as "intellectual" and failing miserably at both. Now it's much more often just pseudo-intellectual. I feel like that has a lower failure rate, because at the very least he has people on from different fields that are actually kind of interesting undoubtedly. But yeah his inability to do a single podcast 900 something in that doesnt have u checking your watch at multiple points is pretty incredible.

It's another ayahuasca experience recap episode. He's gotten better at no repeating those.

Wow, you sure know a lot about Joe Rogan

He's the most fascinating pygme I know of.

The Brian Dunning episode is the greatest of all time for awkward, cringy moments.

Dunning is a faux skeptic who had written an article attacking Rogan and he comes on at the beginning and reads it to his face which pisses him off from the get go.

That dude was straight up stupid.

"You only pee pee and poo poo because you eat and drink too much" - Brian 'super science man' Dunning

Let's be clear though, that one's especially funny because Rogan's a douche too. That he would even be in that argument with a guy no one cares about, and anyone who's even heard of him with a half a brain would immediately roll their eyes at--Joe bothers to have a heated debate as if there's something enlightening for us the audience to gain from it.

He is actually in jail now. He was scamming some online stores with fake affiliate clicks.

Almost any time Tony Hinchcliffe is on. They bring out the absolute worst in each other. The episode where Ronda Rhousey lost that UFC fight in the first round, Tony actually non-comically and unironically compared it to 911.

The Crowder episode. I have never seen Joe that mad, and I've been listening/watching his content since 2011. Every time you disagree with something he's rabid about(hunting, alternative ancient civilisations, psychotropic drugs and especially weed) he wastes up to an hour cussing them out and using his fuckboi Jami as backup.

I felt bad for Crowder when he out-alphaed him. Hell, even Sargon got a "Listen here, you fuck", but he's British and can take it. He even went as far as to get hung up on a word like 'Advanced' when discussing Egyptians cutting stone. Sargon disagreed that it was an advanced civilisation, since stone-cutting can be done by civilisations that haven't gotten advanced tech like metallurgy and writing. Joe flipped the fuck out since he has ZERO knowledge or education in the field and thought he meant that it was impossible. A fucking hour wasted because he's a dumbass.

His autism has ruined tons of interviews.

Is that stone fight between Sargon and Rogan at the end? I think I actually clicked off of it right before that started because I was so bored by then hahahaha but that seems worth checking out

Somewhere around the end. They went on for 4 fucking hours and he missed his flight. Joe paid for a new one though.

Even though things got heated, I think he enjoyed the conversation.

I might have to listen to that Crowder one. I listened to the wrap up of it when Joe called into Crowder's pod. I liked Crowder for a little bit but he's a little to smug and self-satisfied for me, and his preachy anti abortion bullshit really annoys me. I like when people decide they should be able to make the choice for other people when it comes to something as dramatic as "am I in any position to bring a child into this world right now." Fuck you.

It's all based in Christianity. Same thing happened to Milo over the whole circumcision and being a catholic debate he had with Rogan.

He wasted another hour beating his chest like a gorilla instead of actually asking him about the whole Gamergate, and alt-right thing.

He just can't LEAVE IT ALONE!

The crowder episode was definitely the most uncomfortable episode i've seen. Check it out.

Episode 128 : Traps Aren't Gay

When he became indignant at someone saying Ronda Rousey wasn't a ten.

and episode with brian callon, brandon shaub, eddie bravo or aubrey, the other snake oil salesman.

Any episode with Eddie Bravo or Joe Rogan.

This is a good one. You can tell the guest evoked Joe's "fuck you, dad" response.

Pretty much any after you realize Joe quit actually learning anything a long time ago.

This is a weird one, there's no highlight, it's more just awkward a good percentage of the way through. It's this southern black comic Byron Bowers who is I guess a Comedy Store regular and Joe's pseudo mushroom intellectualism isnt sticking the landings like hes accustomed to, I guess. Plus he's really judgmental and just has this shitty look on his face and attitude for most of it. He comes off like a white lady who's spent her entire life in the suburbs.

Thank you. Was trying to recall this episode! Absolutely the most uncomfortable conversation ever.

Sargon of Akkad was on recently with a "free kekistan" shirt. I didn't watch but that made me want to shoot him. He's also a complete queer.

I think he is smart though, in his corner of the universe. Which granted is annoyingly "modern" and Internet-centric, but again, you guys are missing out on ROGAN being a douche. He comes off repeatedly in that episode completely out of touch with anything going on in the Internet sphere and seems proud of being past his prime. And as a truly bizarre bonus, pays for the guy's flight so that he can stay longer for a boring podcast going absolutely nowhere hahaha. I guess that's nice of him though. Maybe Rogan's the real ass puerto rican rattlesnake

Rogan is an old man, but he's still more on top of it than Jimmy. The way he outright dismisses youtubers is hilarious though. He was extremely jealous at Pewdiepie during the Sargon episode. Probably because Sargon called him "a comedian".

I just liked that Rogan has never even heard of Pewdiepie, really. That was double dose of cringefest douche to my grill, because Sargon seemed to actually think Pwediepie was funny, and yeah Rogan seemed again totally out of touch.

By the way, side note, this is completely editorializing of course and all I've ever seen of the Pewidepie nazi stuff is that same clip reel--but I dunno, I sorta feel like those nazi jokes DO have a smirking, winking kind of nod to the neo nazi crowd in them hahahaha. I'm not so convinced that Pew doesnt actually have those sympathies towards them

Pewdiepie isn't all that bad with his new material. He's no stand-up though. I think that was what made Joe act so oblivious. 55 million subs and 100s of billions of views is nothing to scoff at. He's basically the most famous guy on the Internet.

Yeah I was just speaking to the fact that he's so popular and Rogan as no clue. But do you think he really does have nazi sympathies? I don't know why but I just sorta feel like he does hahaha

No.

Rogan was pissed because Sargon pointed out in another interview that Rogan's man crush Sam Harris is a pretentious boob who is nowhere near as smart as he thinks he is.

Joe intentionally made him miss his flight on that episode.

?? But he paid for the guy's flight. Or at least he said he did. Even if he did it intentionally to be a dick, you're saying, what kind of "bit" is that? Plus the rest of the episode, that I listened to anyway, is pretty non-confrontational. I mean if he paid that money to get one over on the guy, maybe he should have been less subtle.

Are you thinking of the Steven Crowder episode?

He asked him repeatedly "Do you have to go? You can go..." and the fat bastard chose to sit there and keep talking.

Gotta give it to the fuckers fanbase though, they've been flocking all the Rogan related boards for days trying to pretend like they're longtime Rogan fans and amazed at how witty and educated the guy was.

And then you click their post histories and it's Gamer Gate and MRA horseshit and they haven't mentioned any Rogan or comedy related things ever until that episode.

I think most all of you get it, but I'm scared this needs to be underlined: Rogan sucks because he's an idiot, musclehead douche who thinks he's really smart. That's why he sucks; because he seems so insistent about us buying that he's smart. Larry King and Don Imus are morons, but they're quirky and seem to own their weird out-of-touchness. I think Larry King as even admitted on many occasions he was successful because he was kinda dumb and just really curious. Rogan has 0.0 of that sort of self awareness.

Rogan sucks because he's an idiot, musclehead douche who thinks he's really smart

I hate that he also thinks he's a comedian.

Episode 99 with Darryl Wright and his chauffeur. Gets real akward real quick

Sargon of Akkad came off looking batshit crazy and anyone who says Joe came across as out of his element is a Carl Benjamin ballwasher.

Rogan doesnt constantly have porn stars on (at least he knows that LISTENING TO porn stars isnt what theyre for), but he did have a chick on whose sole claim to fame was selling her old socks to perverts on the internet. It sounds like a Norton guest, but it was the worst (non bowhunting) JRE Ive ever heard.

The Deadmau5 episode is a work of art. Deadmau5 procedes to get more drunk as the podcast goes on and turns into the biggest douche you've ever seen much to the annoyance of Joe and his other guests.

Seriously, you have got to see this if you haven't!!

The Jamie Kilstein podcast. Toward the middle, there's a 15-20 minute argument between Jamie and Rogan/Redban where he insists that being raped is worse for a woman than being murdered. It's an interesting artifact of comedy history - you get to see Kilstein in all his unabashed faggotry before his career ended.

Deadmaus was pretty cringey, he gets drunk and complains about people taking drugs at his concerts. Wanker.

Pewdiepie isn't all that bad with his new material. He's no stand-up though. I think that was what made Joe act so oblivious. 55 million subs and 100s of billions of views is nothing to scoff at. He's basically the most famous guy on the Internet.
