I just wrote this song where it goes C Em / Dm / F Fm/ C / C Em / Dm / F Fm Bb7 / Ebmaj7/ The listener is expecting the Fminor to resolve down to C major the second time around the same way it did the first but the Fminor is actually functioning as a ii chord in the key of Eb and it ends with a ii V I in Eb so the key changes by a minor third isn't that fucking genius I'm a genius aren't I cool fuck me I hate myself
