Opie invented a new kind of comedy called sit down comedy. You do it at a desk in a deserted hallway and cry while people walk by and laugh at you. He's a pioneer.
Nah, even that he robbed from the flaming faggots (a few of which are members of this sub, no doubt, from all the "I'd fuck Sue Lightning" comments) who sit in a plastic tub in the hallway at some back alley, black door BDSM party (that Vos has mentioned once on O&A) with a sign that reads "please piss on me."
from what i've heard it was an amazing show last night to a packed house of hard core pests. hopefully this will shut the haters on here up who think nobody likes opie radio.
they were all a bunch of self important queers desperate to be on the radio. and Opie couldn't last 10seconds without taking a phone call.
match made in heaven
Yeah, for what it's worth, he would do great to simply be the host/comedy club owner and let comics do their thing, as long as he doesn't think he's one of the comics or funny people as well. That's one thing I wish Jim & Sam did, have Jim's comic friends on. The reason O&A started having them on in the first place was through Jim, but now they're rarely on the show.
Ewww...so that's where the douche chill inducing "YYYYYYEEEEEAAAHHH" that whale tongue token letnig Sherrod wails out comes from after Opaids says "thanks for coming out" at the end. Of fucking course something so utterly embarrassing has an Opie origin. Of course.
Have you listened to FM lately? It's all terrible. But yet, even those shit shows have an audience. Opie Radio is carpool dad talk with naughty language. And unfortunately that audience exists.
To be fair, it's not like he's doing stand-up. You have multiple comics that many people like there, most of which even old O&A fans but non Opie show listeners would recognize., so yeah even I'd go there over seeing some random people I never heard of.

Is he trying to turn "YeeaaHHHHHHH" into a catchphrase?
n/a MalcolmX_InTheMiddle 2017-06-12
People shit on his garbage show by saying its just loud noises and yelling. Opie's response, make "YeeaaHHHHHH" a show catch phrase.
I shit you not.

Is 'Jazz it up' Opie's version of Bobby's 'Where we goin' which is a poor man's version of 'you might be a redneck?'

The lineup was Henley, Florentine, Small, Bonnie, DiStefano. Thats pretty much Opie's show...and Bonnie was just there as a guest.

Im glad someone decided to put the camera into one of the harnesses from Thunderdome and then just let it go. Great aesthetic choice.
