No, say it again.

So opies show was better with baby talk. Sorry I missed it.

nononon. WITHOUT baby talk. Burr didnt really talk about it. He talked about other things

He said he was going to have a man on the moon by the end of the dec-ahd, and do those other things.

I thought the same thing. Fight me.

At this point, both shows are absolute dogshit, and all three of them are fucking pathetic. I use to love Jim, but I can't fucking stand him now, and I love watching his career fizzle away while all his contemporaries are house-hold name multi-millionares.

Fuck them all.

Admit it. It's cause he wouldn't blow you.

I figured it was just loud laughing the whole time so didn't even bother listening.

Chef douche and tonguey weren't in studio, so no fake laughing.

Which made it the first time I listened to Opie's for more than 2 minutes. I was flabbergasted. How come it isn't just a jumble of fake laughter and talking over each other, I asked myself.

It's because Burr actually seems to like Opie and feel comfortable around him, whereas he probably feels Norton is an off-putting little creep (which he is).

Maybe he feels a connection with Opie because they're both pale, balding, and ginger.

Billy boy seemed like he was just tired and going through the motions when he was talking to Norton and Stern, whereas with Opie he seemed to relax and just talk shit about sports etc.

On a side note, I can't tell if Chris Distefano is constantly doing a 'bit' or if he really is a big, dumb, neurotic Italian jock with no sense of social awareness.

I enjoyed that Bill kept calling him husky though

im glad someone sees what i mean.

Norton is on Burr's podcast almost every time he's out in LA promoting.

listen to Jim on the MMP. Bill loves him. They have great chemistry.

That's just incorrect.

I actually don't mind Distefano, I don't get the it's an act vibe from him. The stories about his wop dad have kept me entertained and he's always fine with getting shit on. He's like a retard strength version of Vos.

Chris D has very minor mental issues which he blows out of proportions to look more "damaged and deep, maaaaan". He's a jock version of an edgelord.

You dumb Micks never learn about apostrophes or what?

Firstly: For the umpteenth time - This fucking keyboard is not in my language Secondly: How do you know I´m a Paddy? Thirdly: Sam is a fucking reprehensible cunt who needs more flogging in this cesspool of a sub

I can smell it on ya

Sam's alright. You're just bored.

Burr doing J&S at 9AM is like doing a radio show at 6AM for him but still, Jim needs to knock off the 'interview guy' facade when people like Burr or any comedians come in. The best part of O&A was that they wouldn't try to prepare interviews a lot of the time they'd just have a bunch of material to go over and they'd say hello to their guest then go right back into the material (weird news stories / youtube videos / stories etc) while bringing the guest/comedian into the conversation. I'm not really a fan of "interviews" in general but always made an exception for O&A because of the style they would have with bringing in guests. So J&S falls back on just being a basic interview thing and I end up losing my attention span for the appearance most of the time.

This is very true. But the bigger truth is - I think - that he´s not capable of acting natural with guys like Louis and Bill now they´re big and he´s also trying to do his job as the host (ie the Opie) which he simply can´t do.

He´s a 3rd mic and always will be and his friends have moved on

Vincent D'Onofrio sure enjoyed being brought into the discussion when he was in.

Stop using the wrong apostrophe, fag.

The show getting cut off exactly at 11 doesn't really help when someone comes in at 10:30 and they got off to a great start with Jim taking Bill's blaming the victim joke like a serious argument. Don't understand what happened to these guys that they completely forgot what made the old show good

Burr seemed a little embarrassed when Jimmy "fully credited him" for going to Europe for the fourteenth time.

Whatever you think of Sam, he is a talented interviewer. He also has enough of a relationship with Burr to at least chat about being new fathers. Not that any of us care about that, but if Jim is going to steer the convo that way, at least let Sam get 1 word in edgewise. The desperation seeping out of Jimmy was embarrassing. He needs to stay in his lane and let Sam do the things that he can do. That includes letting Sam run the show, and destroying Sam's corny 360.

Opie sounded almost content and comfortable in the interview.

Popular opinion: You listening to Opie's show and Jim's show still is pathetic and you should STRONGLY consider suicide.

listened to the burr interview on youtube. first time ive spent more than 5 minutes listening to opie show

Jim's self-important James Lipton approach to interviews is fucking awful.

Agreed. I hate sports talk, but Bill doesn't and he was happy to have it finally after a day of talking with nerds. His Stern interview was fucking terrible too and Stern came off as the biggest ballwashing castrated cuck I've ever heard. He's sounding more and more like his impression of himself in his younger days in Private Parts.

I'd rather listen to nursery rhymes than any of these old queens now.
