Thanks, Nick and Colin are great together. I really hope Nick has good guests on fairly often. He's great with another funny guy in the room. Not so much by himself.
The pacing of it is great, no shitty comics trying to one up eachother, just two old friends talking. Colin Quinn first set was in jaIL bombing infront inmates and guards, what a legend
One thing I'm not sure about on this show. And probably because it's a honeymoon for Nick. Way too many dick-suck calls. A lot of them talking about a resurgence of "Tough Crowd." Nick's show could do a lot of that. The guests are up to him and the format is up to him. His show is on at a time that is actually convenient for NYC comics and I think Nick is a guy who wouldn't be averse to Tough Crowd segments. He gets two hours per night. He could do one or two hours per week of Tough Crowd. Or Colin could pre-record Tough Crowd shows for SXM whenever they wanted to air them for whatever channel.
Excellent first week of his show. Nick has always been great on the radio but hes always had a tendency to get sucked into the Lib PC police / sports talk holes.
If he keeps up the balanced variety like he has this week it'll be better than all 3 of the O&A shows by a long shot.
This is why I haven't listened. I like him but don't really agree with him or if I do I don't really wanna be bashed over the head by his views. I'll check it out now
