It won't make its money back in theaters. That's the criteria for what is considered a bomb. They spent too much making it ($40 million for a comedy without a bunch of CGI or star making $10 million is very high) and they spent a lot on TV ads. They probably need $50 million.
It's at 32 domestic right now. Granted I can't see it making much worldwide, and I doubt they get a ton of money in VOD or from cable. But in the end it's gonna make its money back or come damn close. I'm not defending Schumer, she fucking sucks and her career has already taken a nose dive but this just isn't as big a disaster as people are trying to make it sound.
