Sam is a good straight man, I don't have nearly the same hatred of him as many on here, but it does get a bit annoying when he tries to go beyond the straight man / instigator role and be the funny man or try to keep up with professional comics. That was exactly Opie's downfall and if he expands on it history will repeat itself
