They just wait for people to post some sort of big hit and they all decide that the hit was "shitty." If you are able to slide a credit card under the guys skates, then obviously he "left the ice! shitty hit! shitty hit!"
How can anybody live like that? Spending time obsessed with a sport but hating everything that makes the sport cool and fun.
They're the fucking new fans that the NHL wants to bring in so badly: the kids that don't even like it, and want to change it as soon as they watch it for 6 months. Nah, I'd rather the sport not grow if we're just going to cater to a bunch of queers that can't even handle a common chirp.
The league has changed drastically in the past 5 years. This years playoffs have been very forgetable. Remember the 2012 Flyers Penguins series? There was a legitamate brawl like twice a game, and now you never even see a lone fight in the playoffs. The passion just isnt there anymore. Just another sport where refs dictate the game. At least we still have baseball though, and even that is starting to get soft
Fuck yeah, I remember that series. They keep getting rid of bruisers like Lucic for guys like Nugent-Hopkins though. Even the defensemen now are turning into more of the puck-moving setup guy instead of the enforcer/hitter. The most you get out of the younger kids are guys are more pests than intimidating.
