Gaffigan and Brian Regan are two great exceptions. They're like made men. Interesting that each have only appeared on Ant's show once, and have basically blown off the Sirius shows.
Great exceptions? They just tell very funny jokes in a way that works for them. Stanhope and Attell may be more appealing to my sense of humor but anyone who doesn't laugh at "the big yellow one is the sun" or "you can be Mr. Bouncerverse" is either deaf or trying to hard to be dope, dude.
I meant great in the sense that I think they're great, and the 'exceptions' was referring to your comment on clean comedy. I'm a fan of Gaffigan and Regan, so I must have been unclear.

I pretty much despise clean upbeat comedy yet find him hilarious. Vos and Attell had hilarious cameos on his show.
