He's fat Dane Cook. He markets himself towards that college dudebro crowd and it makes him a lot of fucking money, money his comedian friends want to get in on.

Other than Patrice O'neal, comedians primarily only care about money and success, they'll pontificate about the standards of comedy all day, but in reality they're all whores for cash, just like the rest of us

I've never watched his standup, but one thing I like about him is he seems to appreciate his success and genuinely seems like a big fan of all his comedy peers. He always sounds excited to podcast with anyone, even the likes of a Sam Roberts.
