Denny had the best line on Sam & Jim -- "And there's a lot of acid in pineapple too"

I'm listening to this morning's show and Denny's line above made me laugh out loud. It's the first time I've ever done that while listening to The Sam & Jim Show.

Sam needs to ditch that mediocre comedian of a second mic he has now and bring Denny in full time. That guy is gold!

I laughed too...Loudly and for quite awhile.

When I was done, I thought about it and couldn't think why it was funny. Probably just the timing and the perfectly flat reaction it got since it was tangential and a literal suggestion as a supporting reason to stop eating pineapple instead of implication or innuendo.

That guy needs to be the third mic every day.
