I tried to make this same joke about the black guys at work by calling them "boot-lipped, no-good monkeys" and nobody laughed. I guess Patrice's punch line was better
Calling Mayans, ancient dishwashers is hilarious. The reason why he didn't like the joke was because he was offended by it. But he tried to play it off as though he was trying to critique the joke, and their was some flaw in the structure of the joke. But it's really just because it was shitting on something that he is a part of, so he got offended. I hate people like that.
