He flies 2-4 times a year max, and always makes sure to mention how first class was very nice. I think overbooking sucks, and that doctor that got dragged off got what was coming to him. Asshole vs asshole, no one wins or loses. None of this would affect Ant though, they aren't kicking first class off unless he bites a stewardess' hand.

When you buy the ticket you enter into an agreement with the airline for service and the guidelines of that agreement are in the contract of carriage. In it they list specific instances when they can remove you from an already boarded flight. If the reason is that simply they need your seat , that's not a viable reason, according to their own contract. You, just like Anthony, have it somewhere incorrectly planted in your head that flight attendants are the sherrifs of the sky and can make you do whatever they say, which is true when the passenger is interfering with or disobeying flight crew instructions as it relates to the safety of himself or other passengers, which wasn't the case here.

Like saying you don't like her snotty attitude, you'll be labled "agressive" and she feels you're a threat to SAFETY. Or you're a "terrorist" or whatever. Sure, but that didn't apply here. They didn't tell him to leave because they felt he was a threat. They told him to leave because they wanted his seat and they made that clear. That's against their own policy. And the crew never stated they felt he was a threat after he denied them. They simply illegally told him to get off the plane and he didn't want to. In your example the person is being told to leave AFTER an incident. It's like if the reason a cop is arresting you is because you are resisting arrest.
