not a Joe Strummer fan?

Wasn't this release on Hellcat records? I vaguely remember him being signed to Tim Armstrong's label, but I could be wrong.

No it was on Hellcat Records for sure. But this was the last one before his death

Just looked it up. Forgot about his cover of Redemption Song. Really sucked when he died. Was hoping for a Clash reunion someday.

It was surprising too, it was cancer right?

I'm too lazy to look it up but I think it was a heart defect.

I'm pretty sure it was originally on hellcat... epitaph remastered & released all 3 strummer solo albums a few years back

He does a good rendition of Bob Marley's Redemption Song on that album. Or not if you don't like The Clash/Joe Strummer.

Oh no I LOVE this version. I learned this version first on guitar before the original. Was never a Marley fan, although I do enjoy dub/reggae shit
