Obnoxious gum chewing aside, I wasn't exactly expecting half the brains behind White Girls and Scary Movie to be hilarious, but he really stunk.
He wasn't even mildly amusing accidentally and fell into the Opie school of comedy. Retarded and didn't listen to anybody else. Any time Jim (or occasionally Sam) would make a joke, he'd respond with something that had nothing to do with it and completely fell flat.
If his name wasn't Wayans, he'd be vying for Sherrod's spot as Opie's wacky Negro.

I used to believe the same. Sherrod has never made any mention of it and he has a very Anglo-Saxon sounding name. But I did stumble across a video of him making a mockery of himself in front of Doug Stanhope a while back and he is, to my surprise, of African extraction.

I dont listen to Jim and Sam, but he was always the untalented Wayans. He got by on being better looking than his mongoloid brothers. There's a reason why on In Living Colour they relegated him to being the "house DJ" early on
