I have been a fan since the WNEW days, as a young lad. O and A was my go-to show. followed them all the way to, well, now. I always hattttted Stern and would get into so many fights with buddies. I never ever liked him because I never really gave him a try.
Recently, over the last few months, I went down with rabbit hole with stern TV on you tube. I was completely wrong all this time, it is clearly a better show, was a better show. Artie is hysterical and is a rich man's Jim Norton, they have a fat idiot that even looks like erock (Benji) they have dope behind the scenes guy they rag on like Sal and Richard Christy, Stern bashes mgmt all the time and the producer Gary. Looking at how Opie acted all these years I can see he was doing his impression of Howard. I also feel a lot more passion over -all from stern and fred and the on-air crew about doing the show...it seems like they enjoy the job more than opie and anthony ever did.
I always thought Howard was such a cunt for saying OA ripped them off but the fucking guy was right.
The Gary puppet is fucking classic.

Howard had a lot of amazing moments I'll still watch from time to time. But for two guys talking firing off hilarious lines, Anthony and Jimmy are untouchable.

This was always a well known fact. I listened to both shows once the were both on satellite & replays were available but always loved Stern most since I was a little kid. I remember O&A fans thinking there was some rivalry & radio war but that was all O&A propaganda because no one cared in Howard's camp. I would try to get my O&A friends to listen to Howard & they'd become combative like i was insulting their mother but I noticed once Howard's past regulars started appearing on the O&A show they immediately became fans favorites, it was hypocritical to say the least.
