Did anyone here actually think the new Dave Chappelle specials where that great?

Hes first two were amazing. And i think Dave is up there with Louis. But this two albums were just ok. His first one was slitghly better than Bill Burrs new album, and hes second was slightly better than that one, it had its moments. But people were laughing for anything, if he said shit, they laughed. And i feel he got more applause out of agreement than laughter.

You didn't like the whole genius "and the 12th time I met OJ..." that provide structure to his act? Only Joe Rogan would think of something that good.

Having watched half an hour of the first one, I was tempted to make a '<---- Number of times Dave Chapellle doubles over with laughter at his own jokes in his new specials' thread...
Also: referring to fellow black people as 'niggers', and to white people as 'white people' is still edgy after all these decades, eh...?

Thought they were great. Him, Louis and Bill are the top comics now.

Yes. His son crying like 2pac was a highlight for me.
