Such a brilliant movie, it deserves all the praise it gets. I just noticed all these little details in the first night club dance scene that paid off - The whole crowd is getting funky, gettin' down, then all of the sudden, everyone is putting their weight on it! Brilliant piece of cinema second to only the greatest movie to come out of the 70's "Boss Nigger".

I agree, Boss Nigger is awesome. Petey Wheatshaw is up there as well. I mean, the movie starts out with a black women giving birth to a watermelon, then a teenage boy. The only way to top that would've been if the doctor was in blackface.
