It's a shame that Norton can't talk to Mullen about topics like this--every time they're together on the radio or podcast he's either futzing with his phone or acting like Charlie Rose.
Oh, I completely agree. Jim's out of touch. But like I said I respect that he lets the people on his show have a chance and doesn't take the limelight off of them
For sure. People can call Burr a cuck or whatever, but he went out of his way to promote Norton's special, unlike Amy and most of his bigshot friends, and even made a point on his podcast with Jim last Monday to thank him for letting him share the O&A spotlight a decade before, even though he didn't have to, for all the tickets that sold for him, and where it took him in his career. It was kind of touching, and shows that Burr gets how much that show helped him, and how Jim was the main part of that.
Burr's awesome. When people on here were torturing DeRosa a few years back I remember he randomly plugged Joe's dates on his show just because he felt bad for Joe. He's a good dude and still funny as hell
Totally. And his door was open to Cumia the whole time they "weren't talking". And when they did, recently on air, Cumia couldn't be real, just kept asking him how cool flying helicopters is. A lot of what people saw as Burr "going LA" was actually him just living his life and not getting involved with radio drama.

People act like that was even an issue with him. I really doubt it. I don't think the Opie and Anthony universe effects the guy as much as people on here think it does. He's not fucking los My sleep over it

Fair enough. I think Jim lumps Mullen in with the ironic, alt comics or "workaholics kids" which is understandable, but maybe a bit misplaced.
