As far as North African comedians go, he's definitely in the top three.

He is, but unfortunately he's also incredibly lazy: when left to his own devices he goes the easy route of political talk peppered with the same tired impressions and movie quotes we've all heard a thousand times (i.e. TACS). He needs to be around other funny people to bring out his genius.

I still kind of feel like he's this 'underground' figure who will never be on the level of Stern or any big comic. Like a hidden gem for freaks like us who, if we were multimillionaires, would live the same fucked degenerate teenboi lifestyle he does.

He is one of the best comedic talents I've ever heard, but a wild and undisciplined one at that. As part of a team he will lift it to the next level, but on his own he lacks the drive to be a great comedian. He is a very intuitive guy which makes for fantastic real time comedy and banter, but makes it hard to sit down and write/plan out material as that muscle is seldom trained due to the upfront success of ones intuition.

Overall, yes one of the funniest people of our time, yet very far from being a regular comedian in terms of skillset.

I mean it's always fun to slam him for his litany of poor life choices but you can't say he isn't one of the quickest and funniest people of all time on radio at least.

He was when he was in his element during the prime of O&A. Now, I dont watch his podcast but I check his twttier every once in a while and its funny when he argues with people. But definitely not nearly as good as he once was.
