Is this one Tucker Carlson segment all you've seen of Eichenwald? If so, I get your angst. I'm old for here (mid 30's) and sometimes forget that people younger than me didn't experience journalism the way I did, and didn't read books the same way. For the millennials and kids, the news cycle is continuous and reactionary. It's very different. On the one hand, you're actually 'reading' a lot more than my generation, on the whole, but in fragments.
By my old fashioned standards, Carlson is a shitty journalist and has been for most of his career, especially at CNN. He started out with ideals and some actual solid columns early on, then got on TV and became the quintessential stuffed shirt talking head GOP think tank parrot for 15 years+, and now he's this.
Not saying Eichenwald is great, just that I've read his stuff for years, including his books, and whether I agree or not with him, he is in fact a 'real journalist' in ways that Tucker is no longer.
Tucker is the best thing on cable news, you Gen X faggot. Everybody is openly biased and going for the "OMG SICK BURN!" moment because every journalist or talking head wishes they were Jon Stewart.
And Kurt is a pedo so you should stop defending him.
