Never heard a single clip. Any hilarious moments? Or is it just funny to the normies?

The older stuff (til 2011) is good. The Artie shit on YouTube is great. The fights are always a good listen. Bashing Baba Booey (jukebox, music playlist, audiobook) is hilarious. The current show is absolute dogshit.

I'd put peak Stern at 1988 - 2009. Stern was young or relatively young then. The main crew was a well oiled machine. The back office guys were on, and had a lot of hi-jinx. Strong and enjoyable Wack pack.
The WNBC and early K-Rock years are too Morning Zooish in my opinion. Also the late 80's ones try to be guest driven, which is a bit annoying.
Like most older things, some of it is moment driven, and references get lost, etc.... but I still find shows from that 88-09 period to be entertaining.
In general, I think I'd rank them 1) old Stern, 2) old Ron and Fez, and finally old O and A in terms of listenability.

With video (Howard TV On Demand) it's acceptable, but a lot of it isn't that special. Only the best clips on YouTube are worth your time. On an average days he's worse than Anthony's show at its very worst. He is an awkward ship steerer with next to no personality.
And it's far from normie material. It's very honest in a lot of ways, but a lot of time Howard doesn't know how to move on and it gets super autistic and awkward. Like a staff member does someting silly and he'll do two hours on that, even though 30 minutes would have been just fine. He also spends an ungodly amount of time on trashing his staff members when they fuck up and he gets way pettier than a person in his position should. It's very telling of his autism but he's also a pro at radio, so a lot of it is filler because they have nothing better planned for that day than wasting time with the same shit over and over again. He will absolutely waste your time and not give a fuck about it. Mentally breaking down your listeners and brainwashing them into liking you is one thing, but openly wasting their time is unbelievably disrespectful. If you ever see the signs of that happening, just skip it.
I'd honestly recommend TACS over his show. At least Anthony tries to be entertaining. Stern just falls into entertaining territory sometimes.

The current show is awful. I listened mostly in the 80s and 90s. He was the greatest of all time back then. Artie gave him a second life and extended Howard's prime another decade.
But anything from this decade is dogshit. Even his interviews are awful these days. He was always a great interviewer. They've tried to rebrand him as if he's now mastered the art of interviewing. But he's too much of a kiss ass nowadays during his interviews. His interview questions and style are predictable and outdated. He literally asks the same fucking questions he asked 25 years ago, except that he no longer makes his guests squirm with fear of how deep he's gonna dive into their personal problems. And it's sad to listen to Howard and Robin now. They had great chemistry. Now they sound like your old grandparents who barely address each other and talk around each other and you can't figure out how they stayed together 40 years. It's startling to listen to how awkward Howard and Robin are now if you haven't really listened since the 90s.

Thank you fellas for the suggestions. I listened to a few best of clips. Artie was pretty good. Robin was.. annoying. And the big wig man himself was dull. I've had my fill

Beetlejuice with Gilbert is fucking hilarious
n/a bonniesretardsister 2017-03-16
Beetlejuice anything is hilarious. He'll argue with anybody and blurt out the greatest non-sequiturs in a rage. And unlike most of Bobo's good lines they weren't written for him.

haha yeah he's got some really funny stuff, I liked him with Gilbert because he just fuckin hated him from the start and never let up

From the top of my head I'd say: Gary's Love Tape 1999, Scott the Engineer Anal Saga 2003, MTV Awards Drinking Show 2000, The Artie Lange Roast Drinking Show 2006

Gary throws the first pitch.

Howard complains a lot. Robin is, and always has been atrocious. The staff is boring.
So unless you enjoy listening to super rich people complain and talk about nothing, then I wouldn't bother.
