The group that owns deep discount is SuperD. SuperD bought out former deep discount owner Alliance Ent in 2013. Alliance Ent is a company that does distribution/manufacturing of media and order fulfillment for Amazon and others.(SuperD also owns CDbaby where I purchased "Oh Dara" from Joe Cumia. Flimsy connection though and probably coincidence)

After the 2013 buy out there are many reports of SuperD owned companies using multiple seller accounts on Amazon to increase their presence, credit fraud and sending incorrect items.

I think a few things maybe going on here. They could be selling some of the legit copies of the media they purchase, through their shell Amazon accounts and then using alliance Ent to manufacture bootlegs to sell on their subsidiaries. While they are also using the subsidiaries as fake financial losses to report and using them as credit card fishery's.
