DBag has a way of defending himself that comes off as snarky, and Jim always just says "oh yeah?" Like he can't stand the little shit. Just the last few shows alone with the captain and tennille, wanting to take off after the Live Event, and "challenge" to make his "character" funnier Jimmy was annoyed by the way he responded. Jim expects DBag to be the show whipping boy, and DBag does not want to become fat little piggy boy E-rock.
Thats exactly why I like dbag I can respect that. Hes not just gonna take shit for no reason like jim and sam want him to. And I dont blame him, also its bullshit that they have him doing intern stuff still, and the conversation about jims eggs not being handled properly was bullshit. He's not funny but I agree with dbag on most things.
Does he know that's radio formula since Stern in 1980? If you don't want to be shit on you don't get airtime. What radio show has ever regularly had a behind the scenes employee on and treated them as an equal?
I dont dislike him I just dont think hes right for the show. Everyone keeps telling him you cant ger angry but I dont know if thats what he signed up for by going on the show. He probably wants to avoid being on air as much as possible and while I get it, thats not realistic.
Derek is the most boring whipping boy of any show / podcast I've ever listened to, and I do not enjoy Sam's half hour long attempts to squeeze comedy from the humourless dunce. Bobo may get annoying after a while, but at least he has a personality.
