I couldn't agree more. You hit the nail on the head with him being fairly OK to annoying to now violently hateable. I personally cannot listen to Sam solely based on the number of times he says "like" during a show. A professional broadcaster should have the awareness to realize their annoying verbal crutches and curb their use.

Only listened to a couple weeks' J&S shows, but every forty seconds Sam has to begin a thought with that.

Totally agree. I couldn't skip through that rap discussion fast enough. I realized that Sam's into hip hop because of how it's like pro wrestling--the beefs, the disses, the costumes. Gross, gay and boring.

He barely knows anything about hip-hop either, just basic bitch pop rap they play on the radio.

A standup comedian, he's been on Ants show twice and have been funny both times, dont know much more but he seems like a funny guy.

I just only read the post title but I totally agree.

Sam really isn't up for this gig. He was fine mostly staying out of the way and just poking fun/setting up stuff (like Jocktober). Thing is, back then he was dealing with a guy like Ant who as racist/dirtbag as he was/is, could comment/reference on a range of topics. Sam's hip/hop and wrestling stuff is shitty to listen to for most people and limited.

Im losing patience with it. Jim obviously isnt going to learn to offer something of his own besides his embarrassing sex life, so we're stuck with Sam's hateable interests. When they're good, it's kind of fun. When they're bad, it's enraging. And the bad is outweighing the good.

Thankfully I dont pay for this shit.

Sam is not the problem. There is no second mic, so he has to babble through the parts where the entertainment would go.

I think when Opie was being a baby at the end of his contract, Jim and Sam felt good because their comparison was so bad. Anything against Opie sounds better. Jim sounded more relaxed and he got to be funny. But now that literally everyone has forgotten that Opie even does a show, it's highlighting just how dull Jim and Sam really are.

Man I try but the last two weeks have been awful. I want to like it but until there is a viable third mic the show just keeps worse. There's chemistry just not enough.. also show prep Jim come on man I expect more from you now that you're 'big time'

I stopped listening months ago. Sounded too regimented : show starts - light banter... News topics (done with semi seriousness)... Guest. The most generic format possible.

I personally feel retarded because I visit the sub several times a day but have not listened to any of the 3 shows since the death of OandA. Why do I do this?
