Feelin' Good 7/75: I heard part of the show today and there's apparently a character named "hot dog"....

...pretty wacky stuff. He is African American too, which is surprising since their nicknames are usually something cool (e.g., LL Cool J).

But it really got me thinking of summer-time BBQs and grilling, which always has me feelin' good.

If anyone would like to share one meat-based summer time food (e.g., hamburger) and one vegetarian option (e.g., coleslaw), please feel free to do so.

My picks:

  • Hamburger (80/20 ground beef with a touch of salt and pepper. None of that chopped onion and pepper nonsense. A slice of American cheese on a Wonder Bread bun with a touch of Heinz 57)

  • Corn (What's not to like?)

Yea, that won't work. When grilling burgers a lot of the juice/fat/etc. is lost via gravity (Honestly, this what makes grilling burgers less ideal than using, say, a griddle or pan) so you can't skimp on the fat.

Whenever I go to a ball game I usually get the sausage with peppers and a Bud Light. Premio makes a solid sausage.
