I agree with the greggshells because Ant backpedaled but I think this is the rare occasion where it wasn't warranted. Opie admits it's a good joke and goes along with it.
You could always hear Jim jumping into action, to prevent another argument and to save Opie's feelings. It's funny to hear now, I never understood it then but you can find them everywhere. He instantly yells shit out, just to distract them both.
