In all seriousness why does this sub embrace the moniker autists, autism and/or autistic? I always assumed ppl said it in a tongue-in-cheek kinda way to be funny or in a self deprecating way but I'm starting to think I've been naive. I never really paid attention but since the new year I've been observing this sub and there is no question that some of the people here legitimately suffer from autism, social anxiety, depression, displaced anger and an unhealthy obsession with any celebrity or woman they feel betrayed them. I can't complain tho because I find it extremely entertaining & fascinating at the same time.

I don't know about that unless I'm missing something about autism. I dated a girl once who's brother was autistic & I never met anyone who behaved like this guy did.
