Bill burrs new special

What do you think?
I'm too stoned to write my rant about it. I was just disappointed hugely and found it to be bizarre, and weird and just a depressing experience.
There were very clear bits, a typically structured routine except with no jokes, just bills bizarre mental case theories that last too long.
Tried to kill a room in 2017 talking for 15 mins about some gorilla on YouTube.
It's just so not him, and personally think it's more like an Adam sandler release -- need some bank for the baby and my new nest as a 49 year old father of 0.
This is just my opinion, what do you think? And his outfit made me physically ill. Those fucking shoes with his 68 year old with rickets walk

I liked it. The murder cruise bit made me miss Carlin.

I watched I think the first 20 minutes and gave up. It felt like I was waiting for him to get going, and he never did.

To me the best part was him talking about driving drunk and how awesome it is to have friends and family literally attack you to try and stop you-- it's like you're one of the Beatles. The first half was good. Second half had way too long of premises and dragged on until it eventually just petered out.

I personally wonder if again, thinking of the cash, that by being more whimsical and more animated, adding stories of fiction and sort of showing acting skills -- it increases a comedians chance of being hit up by some popular tv shows and/movies

Is Breaking Bad still on?

It's been obvious that he's chasing acting roles through his stand up since that terrible 87 minute bit about a burglar or some shit in his last special.
You're the only other person I've seen mention it so maybe it's not so obvious.

I bailed after 20 minutes and I've enjoyed all of Bills specials. He seemed out of sorts, and the bits seemed to just ramble on and they were not polished. Someone needs to tell some of these comics that they don't need to impress us with a new hour every year.

Has anybody seen the bill burr subreddit? They all claim to love the new special.

It was bad.
He's starting to "act" on stage instead of tell jokes.
He almost lost the room by basically saying that the audience was racist when a few people booed after he mentioned Kanye West.
And yes, his outfit was fucking idiotic.

This is gonna sound really gay, but he looked radiant, like how a girl looks after she just squirted. I don't want to watch someone be all fulfilled and happy on stage, why do you think we watch comedy in the first place? That being said, some of my favorite bits of his came from here. So over all, meh.
