Mike bocchetti looks damn fine in that tuxedo. He cleans up nice.

My buddys dad has talked about this movie for years, it has such a cult following. Im waiting for someone to screen it out here so I can see it in a theater.

I missed Buffalo 66 last night and I hate myself.

Is your buddy's dad also your buddy? (Guy who asks non-pertinent questions)

No, he was a weirdo. I lived with them for 6 months, he was an eccentric alcoholic animation artist, one of the last guys to do it by hand. He's worked on every animated variation of Batman you can think of since the late 70s, has a lot of great stories. In the 80s before the Japs took over the market and computers got involved, he made seven fucking figures doing animation and worked from home. Then into the 90s he watched the animation market completely change, and today he can barely afford his house. Showbiz stinks.

Goddamn

Yeah, I don't know if you were an 80s kid, but remember at the end of GI Joe and Tranformers, there would be that after credits logo "DIC?" And the kid's voice (sssuuurre) would go "DIC!" That company DIC basically single handedly ruined animation as far as genuine hand drawn old school artistry went. They started outsourcing all the work and paying them a fraction of what they paid Americans, then started integrating computer assisted animation that looked like shit for a long time.

Remember how bad that X Men cartoon series looked? Jesus good god, it was fuckin awful. It bummed me out because I was obsessed with the comics and couldn't believe what a bad job they did with the art.

Really good theme tune though

Yes. I wish Every Time I Die would cover it.
