And Steven "Ned Ryerson" Tobolowski. You'll recognize Tom Nutall's assistant Harry Manning, as well as a huge antagonist who doesn't show up until late in the show.
I saw the poster for justified and started downloading (stealing) it because it made it look like it was in the 1800s too. I stopped downloading it when I find out it was in the present. They stole my bandwidth those crumb bums.
I actually love the way Boyd served as a on/off antagonist while they'd always bring in a new big bad for each season. It gave each season its own hook and kept the show fresh.
not really. Seth Bullock and Raylan Givins were both marshals at some point the but characters are completely different.
Although to a complete plebian they would initially appear similar, Bullock was not the main character in Deadwood although he did play a very central role. One would argue that Deadwood focused mostly on Swearengen and the comings and goings of his establishment.
Conversely, Justified had one main character and that was indeed Raylan. There were other cast members, but we never got a real glimpse into their lives aside from Boyd Crowder.
Raylan was a character that was given an opportunity to appear well-rounded while Bullock was not. Bullock was an actual resident of Deadwood and had a basis in reality as opposed to Raylan's fictional narrative.
Bullock was noted as a "bad man with a gun" historically, so Bullock wasnt adverse to reacting harshly and violently, which he often did even though he tried not to.
Raylan was inherently a good man who was haunted by the demons of his father and Harlan County.

Oh I agree. I thought Deadwood was way better than Justified, though. No question about it, mister.

Just started on Deadwood and had a good larff when someone referred to him as the "Marshal"

Also, Shelby (The Sheriff) and Ty something (a jarhead for hire) are in both shows.

The best part about dead wood is the speech defect. Everyone has it and they say cocksucker every other word.

I just saw Nutalls assistant and it took me a good five minutes to realize why he was familiar. Kept thinking I mistook him for Sheriff Shelby

Motherfucker wears a Stetson in that new zombie show on Netflix with Drew Barrymore and they live in NJ. That don't make no sense!

Stetsons cross borders and are always appropriate headgear.

The first season or two ain't bad, and I dislike most TV.

Third season is one of the best I've ever seen.

n/a TheScarletR 2017-02-01
Conan made it clear he was talking about Patton, heres the clip https://youtu.be/UXRefikXFFw
n/a xaway3 2017-02-01
Haha that's good. I'm sure he's one of those douchebags who's always gotta be the smartest, quirkiest guy in the room. What a faggot
n/a TheScarletR 2017-02-01
I came across that clip recently and had forgotten it was Patton that he was talking about. Not surprising, I'd say
n/a RedditorsAreFagggots 2017-02-01
a non-cuck would know that was just a joke, hence Patton's appearance in Timothy's new netflix series.
i wished it were true though.

Do you remember when Boyd Crowder met Darryl Crowe in his bar? I cant find it online but its the best encapsulation of that character ever.
Its when Darryl shows up to try to get Deweys money back from Boyd for the whore house
n/a xaway3 2017-02-01
Yeah he was awesome in Vice Principles too. I think I remember you were the one who first told me about that show.
n/a eastriverdriveII 2017-02-01
actually he was in a straight to video movie called High Life that I actually liked. Not great but entertaining and introduced to the band April Wine.
