Who else thought it kinda sucked?

I thought the last one sucked so won't be surprised if this one does too

Watching it right now. 45 minutes in and mildly laughed at one thing.

It translated very well in a live setting. It was constant laughter when we saw him live last year. Very rarely does a one hour special make me laugh when watching it on a couch, especially Norton's. But, go see the same material performed live in a club and it's a different experience. The only act I never thought was funny was Brian Regan. Saw him in November and I don't think we laughed twice.

I was waiting for that long gorilla story to have a great ending or an ending at all but it was just unfinished. the fuck was that about?

Haven't seen it but I'm guessing it's about his wife.

that would be a good guess because his "lovely wife" is mentioned like 20 times throughout

That was weird. I thought there were some funny parts but the whole thing felt disjointed and that he wasn't connecting with the crowd.

some parts like the fat actresses bit were good but then went on too long and veered into hack, like "don't blame mcdonalds for being fat", that's the most unoriginal overdone shit ever, and yeah the gorilla ending was lazy as fuck

I'll always love Why Do I Do This and You People Are All The Same but Bill is a nurtured mainstream LA comedy at this point

I guess this way of putting out new material in specials every year is catching up with bill because this sucked

I was suprised how bad this was...I went and saw him live so I might be mixing things up but I felt like he reused 2-3 old jokes from previous specials. Like the Hitler/Stalin thing....

Aw great wife and kid jokes.More to come, can't wait, potty training, oh so much fun,oh well, at least no dog stories.ooof woof.
