I'd say that Celebrity Net Worth amount is low. In June 2001 they signed a 3-year, 30 million dollar contract with CBS Radio (Around the same time Stern signed a 5-year, 100 million dollar contract with CBS Radio).

They did take a pay cut to join XM but they were still making millions of dollars a year.

They received another big contract when they replaced David Lee Roth and joined CBS Radio's Free FM.

Their SiriusXM contracts continued to be between 1-2 million per year until Anthony left.

Opie lived like a pauper until he got married in November 2007.

I'd bet that Opie is worth between 20-25 million dollars (possibly more).

For sure, but it seems like he might've tanked a couple of million by his own investments. Depending on how he paid for his condo, 7 million is enough to put a dent in your earnings if you only have around 20-25 mil. Plus the summer home, the now pay cut (which I'm sure he can afford), and the string of apparently shitty stock investments he's made.

What are these supposed shitty stock investments you're referring to? Most of their Citidel stock was purchased at a really low price and their losses were minimal. They did quite well with both the CBS and XM shares they were given as part of their contracts.

It's foolish to believe that someone as frugal as Opie would buy a very expensive condo and summer home if it would negatively impact his overall finances in a manner that would put him in a position that he'd have to work for the rest of his life just to get by.
