I made it through 20 minutes of the Ellis Show.. it's worse than Opie's show

The show opener is Jocktober worthy. Cheesy sound effects, old "horror" music, and movie quotes with Ellis using reverb for some fucking reason. Whoever the low energy bitch complains about Siri, Ellis screams into the microphone about Siri, which flows into him crying about not being able to buy motorcycle boots, logically leads to Instagram live and how Ellis hate his IG trolls who write to him in Arabic.

Ellis thinks other people hate him because he's "so good" at things, like live streaming and skateboarding. He shot himself down because he didn't want people to dislike him so he shot himself down and got worse and the show's success and his wife going out and him getting a concert T-shirt and how he likes to cook and cooks omelettes and drinks apple cider with ginger and bone broth and how his shower tactics are hahd caw: MAKE IT REALLY HOT, MAKE IT REALLY COLD, MAKE IT REALLY HOT, MAKE MY KIDS BREAKFAST AND PUT ON SHOES. This makes the 2nd mic bitch want to get Robert Patrick T-1000 back because they're both sober and he said something like "isn't it great always going through life fully prepared to deal with life" because he's somebody who's a binge and purge person.

There is no thread through any of this and speaking about how lovely it is to be sober, Ellis brings up motocross and dirt bikes and motorcycles for about the fifth time in 20 minutes and how much he loves to watch his son crash his bike. Ellis can't remember what he was just talking about two seconds ago because they're just rambling about nothing. This prompts the 2nd mic to say, "speaking of tears (they weren't), I tweeted about this but it's crazy, I broke into tears last night explaining Bruce Springsteen lyrics to my wife haha. HOW DARE JERSEY SHIT ON ME FOR ACCUSING ME OF SELLING OUT NEW JERSEY FOR LEAVING WHEN I'M SO FUCKING JERSEY TO THE GODDAMN CORE AND I HAVE A FROZEN TAYLOR HAM IN MY FREEZER WHICH IS OUR OWN BREAKFAST PORK. But I was telling her about My Hometown and I'm not from the Mid-West I'm from New Jersey so it warms my heart when I go to a bar and they're playing Bruce and Idk that's the beautiful thing about music and shit that I can't put into words why it affected me so deeply and just yesterday I was driving my kid around and we we went to drive up to Ojai and Ventura and I was telling him and this is funny! I didn't even make this connection, but I'm like "LOOK AT THIS DUDE! THIS IS WHERE YOU'RE FUCKING FROM!" I actually DID do now that I fucking think about it but for Southern California, which is far more beautiful.

Ellis: "I'll take your word for it. It's beautiful here now just because of the rain do we have any tissues around here? Kinda pissed AC/DC doesn't have fucking OY SENDRING HEEEYHUH huhuh they were there but Bon Scott wasn't sentimental hahahahahaha.

Then they throw to a sweeper for no reason then randomly start playing Don Mclean then Vincent Van Gogh then channel talk now Sugar Ray?!

Holy fucking shit, we can mock Jim and Sam for running a tedious show with the same types of boring guests. But at least they try to have a running thread of conversation. These idiots are just babbling about absolutely nothing and Ellis keeps doing Opie's TOUGH GUY GRUFF RAQIO VOICE YEAAAHWRAAAR

The entire Faction channel is a disaster. If Jim and Sam's show this morning is anything to go by, there isn't a single redeeming feature about Faction whatsoever.

I wish I had something else to listen to but it's all dog shit. We were spoiled with O&A. It was a one off. There's a reason we all still visit this shit-hole of a sub.

I'm listening to a bunch of 2011 shows, there were definitely many shows and breaks that were duds, mostly due to lack of input effort by the guys and the staff and Opie ruining everything. Whenever they had nothing it was either talk to Bobo or Sam's mom.

Every show can't be a winner, that's why compilations or the youtube clips work so well. Question is if J&S are worthy of that yet.

Podcasts are just as much garbage as anything else. Any faggot that ever got behind a microphone on an open mic night has a podcast now and has a new "edgy" take on the world's events.

Even established comics have shitty podcasts. Bobby was one of the first and it turned into 100 no name comics talking over each other while the fatass grins in the corner. It's shit.

And I'm so tired of everyone pushing this mediocre dogshit CUMTOWN. I will never listen to that again. It's better than most, but only because the bar is set so incredibly low. Just like Legion of Skanks had potential then we all saw that it really fucking sucked in the end.

I have not been able to make it through more than 60 consecutive seconds of Oqie Raqio so far. He does nothing aside from droning on about nothing in his shrill retard voice or shout nonsense over anything funny that Rich Vos might say.
