Avocados are an example, we import a staggering amount of shit and all of it will be more expensive. That will literally ruin peoples lives because people are broke as it is. The idea that we're going to bring manufacturing back to America in this fashion isnt realistic. Shit thats made in America is expensive because you have to pay Americans to make it. If America was the only game in town we might get away with that but the way the Chinese, Brazilians and Indians spend money there is no shortage of non american market to make trade deals with.
