Colin has been a borderline recluse on and off for years. When the other comics on O&A busted his balls 10 years ago about tough crowd getting canceled a few years before, he really was holed up in his apartment writing manifestos. He's since broken out of his funk and been really productive. Maybe he's not everyone's taste but I think he's terrific. He's still shy about going on podcasts but he was recently on Kevin Brennan's, with his cousin Tim Gage who got beat up by Joe Cumia or something, and was great. He talked about working out his shows at the Creek in LIC, sometimes for an audience of 4 (I was there a few times like that when he was working on the 'tush)
Also, CQ went on Opie and Jim to promote his brilliant book two years ago and Opie asked if it was an actual coloring book. After he said he'd read most of it. Poor CQ.
