Matarese stumbled into the format for new OnA aka the show we've all been waiting for. Matarese is 1st Mic, Ant 2nd, Artie 3rd, Lil Yimmy the sniper 4th Mic.

And in every episode everyone trashes douchy Matarese and he's just a moving target. It's like OnA but the hatred is above the surface rather than below.
The show progressively becomes more and more psychologically layered as the relationship with Matarese and everyone else breaks down.

Conflicting schedule issues. Can't be early, because lady-of-the-house Matrese has to get his kids to school. Afternoon drive - what, you think dindins will cook itself? And late shows are a no, because after a full day of being a kept man, Joe needs to verbally belittle the money-earner incase she gets any notions about leaving him for a man.
I mean maybe if he just started beating her he could leave the house long enough to continue spending her money making the show, but for all his flaws, he knows he won't find another sugar momma.

Lets not pretend Artie didn't bomb his way through that show. Just because he wheezes like a 90 y/o smoker after everyone of his "jokes" doesn't make what he said funny. He is a hilarious guy but was terrible on Fixing some fag.
