We have had a wall since 122 AD. Its cute to see you americans catching up https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hadrian's_Wall

And Antonines wall! http://www.antoninewall.org/ built to keep us Scots out of England by the Romans. Pussies.

thats too far north for anyone to give a fuck about. It's even further north than the two cities in scotland anyone has even heard of.

Fair enough, but it's not exactly far north. Central belt bitch, almost parallel with Glasgow and Edinburgh. Where are you from ya English cunt?

All of scotland is far north for us english. Sheffield is north for alot of the english.

As for where i am from there isn't a clear cut answer. Lived down south and up north so i get to shit on both parts of the country depending on where i am

Yeah true, there's definitely a big of camaraderie with northerners and Scots.

England didn't exist at the time and the English wouldn't be in Britain until a few centuries later. I think it's about time the English went back to Anglia, Saxony, and Juteland.

I don't like how guys like Ricky realize how divide and at each other's throats they are. But they never acknowledge which side has had an unfair advantage over the past decade, and used that advantage to do nothing but shit on the other side. Instead of bringing this up, they pretend both sides are equally to blame for all the animosity we're seeing today.

You have to consider that the other 'side' feels the exact same way and there are institutions that benefit from each side feeling that way so they perpetuate it. Those institutions dont actively engage in this social engineering they just pretend they're making money but really all the fallout amounts to this social war. Especially since pragmatism in politics became a sign of weakness and the internet allows any person to completely insulate themselves from contrary points of view.

Fair enough. My only question is, how can the other side possibly feel marginalized as a political group, when they've had Hollywood, the mainstream media, and basically every other form of communication representing their beliefs for all this time? It seems like now that there's a shift going on, they fall right back into victim mode.

You're describing popular forums dominated by liberals so certainly the perception is that they dominate. Theyre leveraging the thing they control to push policy in places they have less power, in the same way that conservatives leverage their power in the evangelical community. There are still a lot of actual practices and actual laws marginalizing groups on the left. Each side has policies that are 'progressive' and regulatory and each side plays the victim when they're arguing their progressive policies. For example, the right and gun control- huge crybabies because they want unfettered gun ownership and the left wants to regulate it.

If the shoe was on the other foot you'd find it pretty easy to feel victimized. If Trump was elected 8 years ago and was profoundly frustrated by the legislature and issues inherited from the previous administration, then Pence lost the electoral college with 3 million more popular votes to his polar opposite amid all the same controversies we just had in this election to a really sore winner- you'd feel pretty victimized.

You forgot the education system being flamboyantly left.

Being perpetual victims is how they got to the left in the first place. We saw how they acted the past decade. Obnoxious, condescending, arrogant and straight up dismissive of any possible contrasting viewpoint. That is how losers act when they win something. They don't know how to be gracious in a position of influence because they have never been there before. All of the experienced reporters from the Clinton years grew up and gained expertise in a climate of journalistic neutrality for the most part. Today's talking heads are rewarded for being the most outrageously biased ass kissers. Since 9/11 the left/right divide has been more and more apparent with news programs turning into outright sales pitches for their respective candidates. That is 15 years of people being hired, trained, promoted and hugely rewarded for being as dismissive of the other side as possible.

If you support walls of any kind, even on your house, you are a racist. You are uninformed. You are also sexist and biggoted. You have no empathy. You are hate. Love trumps hate. Be more tolerant like me.

We need to all be more like David Hasselhoff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zXiClnK8oE

The difference is they pull knives on truck drivers, sneak in the trucks and then claim welfare. It's not like they're walking across the boarder to come clean your toilet.

Tell that to Kelly Osborne

Those that have a different opinion than Ricky are "uninformed." Ughk, fuck off. Tired of the high horse bullshit from the left. 99.9% of people who voted for Trump could give a fuck about race and would love to never talk about it again. We just want a competent problem solver who takes in interest in the economy. The last two presidents were a community organizer and a fucking dunce who only got in cause his dad was president before who both knew jack shit about economics and real problem solving. At least Bill Clinton took an interest in economics.

The most annoying thing it's a helluva lot easier to become an American citizen than some of the countries who act like we're terrible to immigrants like Canada and England. So Gervais can go fuck himself.

Because when it takes an extra 4 hours for trucks to go through customs it kinda fucks with trade

A wall? Doesn't England have a thing called an ocean?

they're amphibious now. we call em Flipper Wilsons

Dear Ricky Gervais please stop doing comedy
