Painful to listen to these middle aged soft weak men talk like pussies about bonding with their daughter. Hard to believe that five years ago these guys were actually edgy. Simmons was always kind of a fag but billy burr has fallen really hard

Burr at least is reasonably objective in his Pats fandom. Simmons is a total homer who's overly obsessed with the tired, "us against the world" narrative. Simmons has a nauseating laundry list of broadcasting flaws and should generally be avoided. Once in a blue moon he'll conjure up some decent NBA discussion...and then ruin it by shoehorning in an analogy to The Wire.

Burr has earned the benefit of the doubt for a sentimentality honeymoon period with the new kid. I highly doubt he'll ever go full fag and start imposing utopian social stances like so many of his douchey colleagues.

I've really grown to dislike Simmons over the last five years. He was the best sportswriter for about 10 years, but unfortunately he started websites that employ only women and faggy girly boys, so he's gone from writing like a dude to writing like an emasculated putz. His writing now seems like the musings of Pauly Shore written in the voice of Carrie Bradshaw.

American sports talk radio guys are incredibly tedious, Bill Simmons is the only one I found tolerable. There's this guy called Dan Patrick who is juts completely void of a natural personality. He comes across as a guy that half-read an instructional book called "How to be a Human Male in the USA" and that is the basis for his "personality".

Simmons was really good until he moved to LA and started working for Jimmy Kimmel. He gradually became a huge west coast pussy and his writing suffered immensely. Dan Patrick was also really good about 15 years ago, he desperately needs a good co-host to bounce off of. His solo show is completely vanilla.
