Um. If you think that rebranding opieradio with the name of a channel that has featured Ellis for years is not Sirius basically giving ellis his own platform you delusional. If Sirius wasn't moving towards Ellis they would have chose a completely neutral name. Ellis is the only real draw to faction.
That my point. Faction is catering more towards Ellis by naming it faction. Basically saying he was s more important than opie, Jim and Sam. That's a major blow to those guys.

Opie actually programmed the channel thats why sherrod and vos had their own shows. Ellis isn't programming the channel is he.
Faction is a Sirius brand and a shitty name for the channel. Ellis is the west coast breakfast host. That's all he is.

Opie had input. He was never the PD. SiriusXM put Vos and Sherrod on the channel because it was almost free content with pre-built in audiences.
