When Jimmy "cried" over Ebert that one time, I really think he just didn't want to say anything vicious cuz he thought that would close a lot of doors in "the biz".
Had tickets to see Otto and George at the Joke Factory in Rochester (at the time new, now dead club) and he ended up dying a week before the show. I couldn't wait to see the loveable racist. He is Jimmy with more edge.

Otto was pretty average at radio, but occasionally he would grand slam one out of the park.

He was always interesting though. He did have some good stories. I don't think Otto was fully comfortable because Opie was in the room.

He wasn't terrible, but he could get stilted and taciturn, or misread the energy in the room

I can't imagine why

Remember when Opie brings Otto's jokes to screeching halt

Two great back to back Jimmy lines about Roger Ebert's battle with cancer.

That's a great clip that I have never heard before. And just for kicks, the best Otto line maybe ever...

One of Ottos finest moments (Opie attempts to derail it by being himself but luckily he fails):

I miss Otto appearances the most. Possibly even more than Patrice...I think it's because fortunately there is a huge amount of Patrice material.

I like that he had the balls to say "this gig sucks" on Letterman.
