It made way more sense to have all of those different shows on the channel, even if I didn't listen to them it's better than the stupid replay schedule they've had the past few months. By not going to bat for those people he doomed himself, but I wonder if Voss is getting more shekels from his seemingly second mic afternoon gig.

The Opester is an evil genius. Now that his GUYS are finally getting a taste, I'm sure they've all been teased with the idea of coming on full-time in some capacity; a promise that will never be fulfilled. This means he can keep his rotating second mics in a constant state of suspense and punish them if they don't keep him happy. Sherrod gets pissed at Opie? More days for Distefino. Same thing happens with Chris D? Henley gets more airtime. Maybe bring in a new regular. Now he doesn't have to worry about making eye contact with his full time cohost he doesn't like or being too scared to come into work for days. Instead he can affect them financially by reducing/increasing their appearances, so Sherrod/Vic/Cuban/whoever will behave.
