I don't know why it seems like the majority of the people here think cramming the studio with tons of people is better. Or bringing in all the "cellar comics" is golden. The best shows are usually conversations about current events or maybe a staff member issue. If you look at Classic O and A bits, even the ones with comics on they were usually on cause jim was gone.

That being said, I love soder on. But not because he's in doing material, he can just roll With the show and contribute no matter what they're talking about.

Not even that, but they need different talking points and arguments, that's what makes it great. I don't fucking care if your a doctor or hooker, they just need pushy arguments and different talking points

It's what you get when you have two people so detached from society. Even Opie knows more about what's happening in the world in general. Sam watches wrestling and is aware of some pop culture/ reality tv stuff. But Jim pretty much follows almost no news, doesn't watch currently popular shows or movies, listens to no music from past 30 years, and is addicted to porn/ sex. It's no surprise we get such uninformed drivel from Jim or rants that make no sense.

Jim thinks it's cool to not have heard of popular songs etc but it's an act like him being an addict is a act. He doesn't pull his lies off well either. Yesterday he said he name of a third grade teacher, then realized it may have contradicted another story so said he teacher was fifth grade, then said he wasn't sure. He's just shit sack of lies.

But I agree Sam is not capable of being much more than the Hole and wrestling fetishist and Norton is about masking his fear of his own sexuality.

In a perfect world, Quinn or Soder would be third mic. The show is at its best when one of them are on.

I saw a clip of Soder on Jim & Sam and it was hilarious. I adore Quinn but I don't know if he would be a good third mic, I think he's more of a run the show kind of guy like Tough Crowd. I can't see him being equals to Jim/Sam.

He definitely wasn't a run the show guy. He was one of the reasons tough crowd failed. He really at his best when he's essentially a third or fourth mic on O&A, sitting back smirking at their stupidity and mindfucking all of them

Colin calling in one day a week is about the best we can hope for.

Soder is meh. Jimmy would get jealous if he was in every day doing 500 macho man impressions.

get N.O.R.E. as a third mic, he's funny while not being a comedian. Or get any number of non-comedian funny people in, try them out first and see what works. Ron Sage was one of the funniest guests ever IMO and he was a lawyer

I know he was a bit verbose for everybody's liking last time around, but I love when Jamey Hatebreed is in there with them. It's such a weird grouping of people, and I like his punk rock/DIY mentality on things.

I like the idea, and since he's a fan of the show he already knows what the guys are like, the characters, and the regulars so there wouldn't be much of a learning curve
