Seriously, how many fucking times will someone have to make that same tired old joke before we all acknowledge it's not funny anymore?

It's just people who want to feel a bit of social contact in the form of upvotes. Since not everyone can be funny and original and add value, it's a safe bet for a lot of people to just go with a meme.
