Sam questions to shawn michaels were ridiculous

1  2017-01-13 by [deleted]

He was forcibly trying to get headlines on wrestling websites by asking shawn questions to try and make him say something that they would qoute. So awkward.

Sam such a little dork, it is unbearable. Just like how he was awkwardly acting mad at nancy grace for saying wrestlers die young from steroids, just to try and make headlines.

Sam is embarrassing.

Allah Ackward!

Whenever sam interviews a wrestler, listen for anytime the wrestler makes what is supposed to be a joke. Sam overlaughs. It happened in the Michaels interview when Michaels said he has a 400 lb guy trapped inside him. Sam giggled as if that was funny.

I was out once the UFC crap started so I didn't hear this segment. Did any of Jim "characters" call in ? Cause that's soooooooooo original and funny. Or was the guest asked his cock size ?

No, jims questions were "what they want you to do that you didnt feel comfortable with" after shawn said that he wasnt comfortable with the nude scenes in the movie cause his kids wouldnt be able to see them.

was Cathy there?

You still actually listen? That show hasn't been good since the end of the first week.

Sam really is a dumb motherfucker, he's even bad at interviewing wrestlers now. Honestly Jim's joke questions would have pulled a better interview out of Shawn, when Jim finally brought up Chief Jay Strongbow Shawn popped for it, which I would have known because I too like greased up half naked men dancing aggressively.

He's just a sexy boy. He's not your boy toy!

It's funny how serious Sam takes wrestler interviews, and Jim takes UFC interviews. They will intentionally sabotage almost any other interviews they get, but they act like they are doing the lord's work when they interview boring fighters.

Sam suddenly and awkwardly dashed to a break in the segment just before the Shawn Michaels interview. I assume Travis had just told him that Shawn was coming up.

I enjoy Jim and Sam, but they are embarrassing whenever interviewing fighters.

It's not that they think they're doing important work, they are just shallowly trying to gain acceptance and a small following among fans of that sport by "being cool" to them. Their logic is fans will see the interview and take a liking to them. They neglect to realize they're talking about Sam Roberts

It was a disgrace

Before Shawn Micheal's answered a question Sam bombarded him with another.

Jim could not get a word in

The worst thing about Sam is that he chose to mock Nancy Grace for the one story where she is actually justified and seems to be more informed than Sam. As a little fanboy runt, Sam is convinced that lying and defending WWE as an honest operation free from scummy corruption will get him a job. It got him a forth mic spot on some online-only panel pre-show for WWE. He sucked the right dick to get some crumbs.

Meanwhile, Nancy Grace is really the only one in the room willing to point out the fact Vince runs his roided up retards into the ground with threatening limiting contracts that aren't even legally binding, and all the little snake-like tricks that WWE pulls to cut corners and fuck their interchangeable jobbers over.

Sam is embarrassing because he's see-through. He panders shamelessly and is incapable of covering his tracks to at least be seamless. He just outright abandons his own morals and reputation for a cheap shot at fickle acceptance. Remember when he embarrassed everyone with that pop station gig where he spoke in that corny Mickey Mouse voice doing scripted jokes about MILEY? Sam is a runt who just slipped his way into O&A and emulated them to earn some success on their coat tails. He's a WWE fanboy of the worst type - the kind who watches it every week in adulthood and allows Vince's current opinion on history to alter his own memories. He barely recalls real wrestling from when people actually watched it, he's always naming fag shit from the past 5-10 years where only virgin Comic Con attendees even know who any of those vanilla superhero costume wearing failed football players are.

Nancy Grace actually knew what she was talking about, Sam knew what she was saying but pretended he didn't so he could defend WWE for a job, and Jim had no fucking clue what was going on and only went for the ride because he wanted to force it to to go viral. Sam's desperation to make the tone aggressive right off the bat because she dared to call out his sacrosanct "White Trash God" Vince "My fetish is crushing leaves in women's vaginas" McMahon, in addition to the need for the whole thing to go viral by being aggressive... it showed Sam isn't comfortable being aggressive.

She did sensationalize wrestler deaths related to steroids after the Benoit murder suicide, she cited wrestlers who died from overdoses and Owen Hart who fell from the roof of an arena. She wasn't wrong about the large number of wrestlers that die young but she atleast exaggerated on the numbers

She did exaggerate the numbers, but how exactly was she wrong in grouping Owen Hart in on a list of wrestlers whose deaths were preventable and only happened because of Vince's pomp and circumstance faggotry bullshit? I think outright forcing a guy to do a dangerous stunt that killed him is far more implicating to Vince's name than him indirectly pressuring guys to take roids by only rewarding and promoting the roided.

I haven't seen the video in years, but the one I'm talking about was specifically about Benoit and the steroid problem in wrestling and she had a list of names come up on screen of steroid related deaths with Owen Hart on there and I think Curt Hennig too. And that's not even to mention that its debatable what role steroids had in Benoit murdering his family

Do you think it was concussions? It looks like it was a mix of the brain injuries, the steroids, alcohol, probably his religion, and that his friend Guerrero died. Benoit was convinced he could contact him after his death, he was writing him notes in a diary and things like that. It wasn't just steroids, but the guy was caught abusing roids and whether or not it contributed to the death, it's a proven fact that Benoit was caught and known to be wrapped up in the drug use while being a top player for years for them. It contributes to the narrative that they turn a blind eye to roid use and allow guys to kill themselves physically mentally.

I'm truly not trying to defend the fat ugly cunt, as I have no reason to admire her. She's Alex Jones for the post-menopausal. But it's a fact that she caught Sam with some truth that could really hurt the way Vince slyly does business, and Sam was either trying to cover for WWE or blindly defending him as a fanboy with hurt feelings.

Shut up mark

sniff

I take a taste of the wrestlin' every now and then.... me and Ant were all in back in the day, but I don't even check that shit out anymore, to be completely honest honest withcuuew. sniff

Alright. You're a good mark I see. Check out your local independent rasslin scene. Depending where you live it's kind of like a different version of the territory days. Nothing like live independent shows.

Good for Sam for working these marks into listening to his opinions. But all us here know he's a dork mark who looks like a failed genetic experiment.

Sam was better as a behind-the-scenes guy. Sorry.

Agreed. He's struggling.

I just wish they brought up the time that Sam said "People say I look like Shawn Michaels when I have my hair pulled back."

Sam is just an awful broadcaster. There is absolutely nothing redeeming about him. When he goes into his "scenarios" and they just seem to go on too long and are never funny. Jim always saves him.

Can you imagine a Sam-only morning show? Fuckkk

I can imagine it... The Opie & Anthony preshow with Sam Roberts, 'memba?

A lot of people don't know this, but O&A was a full multi-hour radio show on XM before it became a collection of neatly segregated clips on YouTube.

Oh right. Yes i do remember that.

Finally. I've not liked Sam on air for so long. He's long winded, desperate, covers anything boring with his stupid giggles, has the worst radio voice I've ever heard, isn't naturally funny, a bad interviewer, has no natural charisma. He has no idea what makes good radio or what guests would work. He takes no risks whatsoever. He was good as a background guy stirring up shit for O&A to react to. That's where his career should have ended. And like opie or not. You can't realistically say Sam didn't snake his way into opies seat.
