I don't know about all that.
This sub picks apart everything, we nitpick down to the most minute detail, and tear it apart. I will give you that, but my enjoyment of standup is not diminished.
Vos and Bawby Kelly are two of the funniest fucks you will ever see live.

I used to work with a comedian and spent 3-4 nights a week in comedy clubs and most comics I've seen stink. I said 99% because most of them stink, not all of them. I've seen Attell kill at the cellar and at the comedy store, and he's probably the best comic I've seen live along with Stanhope.
Also I've had the pleasure of seeing Sherrod several times and holy fuck is he even more annoying in the confines of a tiny basement in the village than on the radio

Thia subreddit, like most of Reddit, rarely rises above mildly entertaining. Good, live standup is a million times funnier than anything here. Also, I would wager that more than 75% of the people in this subreddit have never seen a live comedy show.

That's because stand up comedy is played out and blows, but it's the only way the people that are funny on podcasts or radio can make good money. It's also the only way fans can interact with them.
I mean why else would someone pay to see Joe Rogan do his unfunny stoned teenager routine? He's not even funny on his podcast, but it's entertaining.

You hear a pretty narrow selection of comedians on this show, mainly those who are in on Jim's sexuality are allowed. There are a lot more and frankly a lot better ones out there.
