Yeah, the dude has always talked about being a Christian. Back on the old Dennis Miller show (HBO) he talked about it. He talked about it with Roseanne on her talk show. He talked about it on Norm MacDonald Live. He says he doesn't believe in organized religions but believes in God and follows the scriptures and New Testament.
As far as leaning to the right he's always hated the Clintons and his brother Neil said once that Norm was "one of the 37 people left who still love George W. Bush." He makes appearances on Bill O'Rielly subbing for Dennis Miller sometimes. I doubt Norm is that motivated to put that work into a trolling character.
I can't stand how arrogant Seinfeld is about stand up. Like he's actually doing something important for society by getting stage and telling jokes. Plus, I hate how he always acts like he's better than everybody because he works clean. Far better comics than Seinfeld don't work clean. If it wasn't for being on a sitcom in the 90's Seinfeld would be far less relevant in comedy than h is.
