I know this is old, but does anyone else think that the Louie episode with Doug Stanhope is probably one of the most solid 22 minutes of entertainment in a while?
Can't agree with you because you passively posted your opinion in the form of a question. Men just express their opinions. Only women, children and fags request permission. And you also qualified your opinion with a possibility. Again, men speak in certainties, not degrees of possibilities and probabilities. And you finished your half an opinion, half a question with a cringe phrase like "one of the most solid 22 minutes of entertainment in a while." Suck less dicks faggot.
I didn't qualify my opinion you fucking retard. I asked if anyone else agreed. Why don't you go fuck yourself with barbed wire? Is that direct enough for you faggot?
No the barbed wire thing is a reference to the fact that he thinks he's so cool a tough, like how people get those awful tattoos. Did lil Jimmy do a bit about that? I honestly didn't even realize.
By solid 22 minutes do you mean that it is enjoyable, or that it is very rigid? I would have to disagree. Time is relative and 22 minutes might be different to people travelling at different speeds relative to you. It's possible that spacetime is a superfluid, so you're talking out your ass.
Oh absolutely, Horace and Pete was more comfortable with silence than any TV show made during my lifetime. Its style demanded that you experience drama in a way that's anathema to the values of contemporary television. At a time when populist rancor is at a high and people are holding onto familiar fears because it's better than embracing something new, what could be a better time for a show that externalizes that sentiment?
Im so pissed that it turned out that way. The early seasons were funny and not too artsy, but artsy enough that it made it interesting. I liked it a lot. By season 4 I would ask myself what the fuck I was watching. I finally tapped out when he let his girl put lipstick on him and pretend to fuck him with her fingers in his ass.
The one where Rappaport played the cop was one of the best moments of his career. That was amazingly written and acted, that cop character was like a master class in acting/character choices. That episode was fucking amazing, I can't believe the range Raps brought to such an (otherwise) silly character.
Louie got better and better and the final two seasons were my favorite. I liked the show enough until then, but I loved it dearly by the last two seasons. I wish he'd do one more.

Look at these two edgy faggots using variations of Jim's edgy put downs. You guys are really perceptive.

I liked the arc where he was auditioning for Letterman's show more.

Yeah agreed. David Lynch was awesome in it too

And that soliloquy by Gary Marshall.

I thought that was kinda gay. I really don't care about Louie's emotions on making it.

Enough of Louie.

That episode, and the one where louie's bullied by the teenager while on a date are the only ones I've gone back and re-watched numerous times.

After the 3rd season, the show went to shit. It became a quirky, artsy fagfest.
